Latex bands for strength training, muscle toning, and rehabilitation purposes. The resistance provided by elastic bands is based on the amount that the band is stretched. This resistance can be measured in kilograms of force depending on the percentage the band is stretched from its resting length; this is known as force-elongation.
The elastic bands follow a progression system based on a color code, which corresponds to a different resistance and progression of the force required to stretch the band.
