Re-Kupera is a dietary supplement of a wide range of macronutrients (such as carbohydrates and amino acids), micronutrients (such as vitamins, biotin, carnitine) and alkalizing minerals.
Re-Kupera P.W. contains an extensive range of macronutrients, micronutrients and enzymatic cofactors on a scale likely to optimize "post-work", namely the recovery after the athletic performance. It also supports adaptation to the training stimulus and super-compensation. In particular:
- Different glycemic index carbohydrates stimulate insulin secretion by allowing the restoration of muscle and liver glycogen stores and promoting anabolic metabolism;
- Alkalizing mineral salts, present in hypertonic concentrations, are absorbed progressively and promote muscle "cooldown" by counteracting the blood acidification produced by lactic acid;
- Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAS) are present in a 2:1:1 ratio, which is optimal to support muscle growth and reduce recovery time;
- Glutamine, chromium and phosphatidylserine optimize insulin response, prevent stress after exercise (by promoting the restoration of the correct cortisol blood levels) and facilitate ammonia clearance;
- L-carnitine and carnosine stop up the blood acidosis induced by lactic acid, speeding up the return of pre-performance blood pH levels;
- Biotin promotes re-synthesis of carbohydrates and lipids;
- Folic acid enables a more efficient iron absorption;
- Policosanols (present in high quantity) optimize the metabolism of dietary intakes of macronutrients;
- The pool of vitamins, which are present in high concentration (> 75% of RDA), encourages both the elimination of catabolites ((i.e. free radicals) and anabolic processes.
